Carbon Reduction Plan
Carbon Reduction Plan: 2025–2030 As part of our commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact, we have outlined a phased Carbon Reduction Plan spanning from 2025 to 2030. This plan details key initiatives focused on reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency, and promoting sustainable practices across our operations and supply chain. 2025 Initiatives: Foundation Year EV Pilot Programme: Launch a pilot electric vehicle (EV) fleet to evaluate performance, logistics, and infrastructure needs. Energy Efficiency Upgrade: Transition to LED lighting across all facilities, achieving an estimated 15% reduction in power consumption. Travel Reduction Strategy: Minimise business travel by expanding the use of virtual meetings and digital collaboration tools. 2026 Initiatives: Scaling Up EV Fleet Rollout: Begin wider deployment of electric vehicles within the organisation. Electric Van Integration: Gradually phase in electric vans for operational and logistics use. Sustainable Materials Use: Implement strategies to reduce reliance on carbon-intensive materials such as steel and concrete, supporting lower embodied carbon in our projects. 2027 Initiatives: Empowering Change Carbon Awareness Training: Develop and roll out a comprehensive training programme to educate staff on carbon reduction practices and individual responsibilities. Low-Carbon Energy Generation: Install on-site solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to support a transition to renewable energy sources. 2030 Targets: Driving Long-Term Impact Diesel Phase-Out: Eliminate diesel use on sites by switching to battery-powered and alternative low-emission equipment. Sustainable Procurement Standards: Introduce and enforce supplier engagement criteria that align with our carbon reduction goals, ensuring partners share our commitment to sustainability.
